As mentioned on the first week class. Students were assigned a task about research 7 type of fashion events that happened in fashion industry no longer than 3 year.
1. Vogue Fashion's Night Out
(Everyone at Vogue Fashion Night Out!; Moshimoshi Nippon, 2018)
- FNO was created by editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour. It's the world's biggest fashion event that takes place in countries where Vogue is published and aims to invigorate the fashion industry. (Fno.vogue.com.au, 2018)
- It was started by US VOGUE in 2009 and is the world’s biggest shopping event held in each country and city where VOUGUE is sold under the theme of “rejuvenation of the fashion industry.” (Moshimoshi Nippon, 2018)
- The purpose is to promote fashion and to boost the local economy. (Condenastinternational.com, 2018)
- Vogue hosted Fashion’s Night Out events in 17 cities across 10 markets.
Countries which were involved included Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Germany, Japan, Spain, Ukraine, Italy and Taiwan. (Condenastinternational.com, 2018)
- For 2018 will be hosted in Australia, China, Japan, Russia and Spain, in total of 14 cities. (Condenastinternational.com, 2018)
2. Confluential 3.0: Prêt-À-Porter
- Confluential 3.0: Prêt-À-Porter is an exhibition at Bangunan KSK, KL. (Facebook.com, 2018)
- Coined by 8 Conlay’s hospitality partner, Kempinski Hotel, the term ‘confluential’ represents the distinct marriage of confluence, confidence and influence. (Facebook.com, 2018)

6. Trunk Show

- It's allow customers the opportunity to see and try on dresses that they wouldn't ordinarily see at that store (theknot.com, 2018).
- Berta TrunkShow is aim of standing out, and maintaining her creations’ uniqueness in this ever-changing bridal scene. Hence, created an incredibly sophisticated and avant-garde collection (theknot.com, 2018).
- It's benefits to Brides had the opportunity to talk to the actual designer, to discuss the gowns and any changes she may want to make to the one she's considering for herself; Designers got the benefit too, because they get to watch brides try on their gowns and listen to their comments. It's a great opportunity for them to learn directly from the consumer what they're doing right (theknot.com, 2018).
