Reallocating Committee & Increase of Subculture

On Week 8, a little changes has been made to event original committee and the content of the event. It ensure the event able to hold smoothly, and successfully.

Reallocate committee members

Previously creative team members were all majoring in Fashion Design, production team and marketing team members were all majoring in International Fashion Business. After the changes, each team had balanced with different major students it balanced distribution of skill, knowledge, character and network across all 3 teams. Shown below were the new committee members.

Increase of Subculture Previously, the confirmed subcultures will be featuring were Hijabster, Minimalist, Gamer, Clubber and Hip Hop. After a month of preparing the event, students and lecturer find difficult to combine all the subculture together. However, students and lecturer decided to add more subcultures and divided in 4 categories.

Each Categories had divided in 3 Subcategories as shown below:

Social

- Party (eg. Clubbers, Ravers, Festival goers)

- Sports (eg. football fans, Malaysian national team fans)

- Fandom/Cosplay (eg. Convention goers, gamers, cosplay, Harajuku, beliebers, blinks)

Cultural

- Ethnic Modernity (Batik, Sari, Baju Melayu etc)

- Contemporary Religion (Hijabster, Chic Turbans etc.)

- Glocal Hipsters (eg. K-Style, British Hipster, American Hipsters, Japanese Minimalists etc.)

Active

- Gym (eg. Fitness, Circuit training)

- Skaters

- Yoga

Underground

- Bikers

- Tattoo & Piercing - Hip Hop
