Vogue Fashion Night Out was created by editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour. It's the world's biggest fashion event that takes place in countries where Vogue is published and aims to invigorate the fashion industry. (Fno.vogue.com.au, 2018)

It was started by US VOGUE in 2009 and is the world’s biggest shopping event held in each country and city where VOUGUE is sold under the theme of “rejuvenation of the fashion industry.” (Moshimoshi Nippon, 2018) The purpose is to promote fashion and to boost the local economy. Vogue hosted Fashion’s Night Out events in 17 cities across 10 markets.

Countries which were involved included Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Germany, Japan, Spain, Ukraine, Italy and Taiwan. (Condenastinternational.com, 2018) For 2018 will be hosted in Australia, China, Japan, Russia and Spain, in total of 14 cities. (Condenastinternational.com, 2018)
